Recently it has been brought to my attention about how some new people coming into the Early Childhood Profession who have found huge discrepancies between training providers here in the NT.

Of course we are bias, our sister business being Rowe Training and Consulting but we would like to point out there are a number of reputable Training providers like Rowe Training who do not promise you the bells and whistles or that you will

get through the course in quick time but instead offer a practical approach with workbased learning and assessments that will lead you into gaining the skills required by employers.

Rowe Training prides itself on its Industry engagment  and would bring those new to the professional to consider the Fact Sheet provided by ASQA - (Australian Skills Quality Authority) with a checklist of questions to ask the training provider before or at the enrolment interview.

Most Importantly to ask:

•    Is there trainer support for the course? When is this available?

Many students have told us they have trouble contacting their trainers, the trainers are only contactable through email, or once every 3 months when they visit. Even if you are doing a totally online course support once every 3 months is not ususally going to be enough. Childcare and Early Childhood Education and Care Training is best understood when discussing real examples and this can only happen in class, through phone conversations with your trainer or alternatively when they visit you on the job though this time is usually very limited.

Rowe Training provides afterhours support through phone, emails, and study groups if you'd like to know more contact info@rowetraining.com.au or phone 89275950 during office hours or 0407275995 after hours.
