Today we had some good discussions about leadership styles at the Directors Summit, something that is always close to my heart and of which I'll be a life long learner .
There was much agreeance about the Situational Leader being the style most Directors felt most useful. We also had a look at Liz Wiseman new Leadership theories about Multipliers and Diminishers, something to look into as we all want to be Multipliers and support people to become the best and smartest they can be but often we are accidental diminishers.
The question was asked about the style of leadership required when everyone in your team is new and not really knowing what they are doing? Sound familiar?
